● Job Description
∙ Translate and edit into the target language with proper linguistic tone and flow.
∙ Create and manage assets such as style guides and glossaries to maintain linguistic quality and standards.
∙ Collaborate with the Kiwi localization team to discuss and determine suitability of content and to ensure content has been delivered on time.
● Key Qualifications
Language Proficiency Written and spoken fluency in both English and Korean with an excellent grasp on the nuances of both languages
Cultural Comprehension Possesses high-level understanding of North American culture
Writing Skills Highly skilled in writing, expressive, and well-organized
Translation & Editing Skills ㆍSkillfully detect mistranslations, spelling errors, and grammatical errors ㆍAvoid direct translations and preserve literary flow (From an American reader’s viewpoint)
