● Basic Requirements
All ages, genders, and educational backgrounds may apply.
● Job Description
ㆍTranslate and edit into the target language with proper linguistic tone and flow.
ㆍCreate and manage assets such as style guides and glossaries to maintain linguistic quality and standards.
ㆍCollaborate with the Kiwi localization team to discuss and determine suitability of content and to ensure
content is delivered on time.
● Key Qualifications
1. Language Proficiency
Written and spoken fluency in both English and Korean with an excellent grasp on the nuances of both languages
2. Cultural Comprehension
Possess a high-level understanding of English-speaking countries
3. Writing Skills
Expressive, and well-organized, and highly skilled in writing
4. Translation & Editing Skills
ㆍSkillfully detect mistranslations, spelling errors, and grammatical errors
ㆍAvoid direct translations and preserve literary flow (From an American reader’s viewpoint)
● Work Environment (For In-house)
ㆍWork Type: Full-time permanent position after 3-month internship
ㆍLocation: Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, South Korea
ㆍWork Days & Hours : Mon-Fri (5 days/week) / 09:30 a.m. - 06:30 p.m. KST
ㆍSalary: Based on company policy
* Regarding visa requirements, if residing in Korea, those with valid work visas (F-series) will be preferred.
* For those who don't have work visas, Kiwi Vine can sponsor their work visas (E-series) after they get a final pass.
