● Basic Requirements
All education backgrounds, ages, and genders may apply.
● Job Description
ㆍTranslate and edit Korean/English webtoons into French with proper linguistic tone and flow.
ㆍCreate and manage assets such as style guides and glossaries to maintain linguistic quality and standards.
ㆍCollaborate with the Kiwi localization team to discuss and determine suitability of content and to ensure content is delivered on time.
● Key Qualifications
Language Proficiency Written and spoken fluency in both French and English with an excellent grasp on the nuances of both languages
Cultural Comprehension Possess a high-level understanding of French speaking countries
Writing Skills Highly skilled in writing, expressive, and well-organized
Translation & Editing Skills Skillfully detect mistranslations, spelling errors, and grammatical errorsㆍAvoid direct translations and preserve literary flow (From an French reader’s viewpoint)
● Work Environment
ㆍWork Type: Full-time In-house
ㆍLocation: On-site
ㆍWork Days: 09:30 a.m. - 06:30 p.m. (5 days per week)
ㆍAnnual Salary: 30-35M (depending on experience)
