● Job Description
ㆍTranslate Korean/English webtoons into French with proper linguistic tone and flow.
ㆍCreate and manage assets such as style guides and glossaries to maintain linguistic quality and standards.
ㆍCollaborate with the Kiwi localization team to discuss and determine suitability of content and to ensure content is delivered on time.
● Key Qualifications
1. Language Proficiency
Written and spoken fluency in both French and English with an excellent grasp on the nuances of both languages
2. Cultural Comprehension
Possess a high-level understanding of French speaking countries
3. Writing Skills
Highly skilled in writing, expressive, and well-organized
4. Translation & Editing Skills
ㆍSkillfully detect mistranslations, spelling errors, and grammatical errors
ㆍAvoid direct translations and preserve literary flow (From an French reader’s viewpoint)
